Daily Journal December 3, 1998, By William Thomas Thompson. Let me testify to you of the mighty power of God available. I must speak my conscious and say my conviction. I hope none will be offended. Jesus said, "If a son asks you for bread, will you give him a stone?" I speak my mind as fair as I know how to be. Does a cancer patient want to hear the bad news? If you think your name being on any church membership roll is going to automatically save you, you may be disappointed. I believe Jesus Christ is coming back to earth again soon to save those of the living Church, not a dead church, not any church I know of, Protestant, Catholic or Jew. Jesus is coming for those who love and serve Him and pray to Him without ceasing. You may know someone that is living in this state of readiness, It is most likely not the richest person in your town, and it may not be the most famous person around. The ready person may not be the highest educated person or the smartest; this may not be your preacher or your Sunday schoolteacher, not your doctor or your lawyer. Not your teacher or your student. When Jesus comes to set up His Kingdom on a renewed earth, the ready will rule with Him. I speak as I feel led of God. Hear what the Spirit of God is saying to you. Pray and meditate day and night. Think on the Lord God. I believe the earth will be destroyed by fire in total war. All the bombs sold to the Arabs by China, Russia, Germany and France to get their oil will explode. I see this country breaking up just like the USSR did and I see the blacks forming their own nation here. I see the fires burning and the end coming to a nation and world whose hearts are not with the Lord God Almighty. I see the modern church as a pacifier of the people and not taken serious by either the minister or the members. I am not anti-church; I believe every body needs to go to church. "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together". Attending church is I believe a step in the right direction, but it is only one step. Much more may be required from us all before we enter the gates of Heaven for eternal life. When Jesus was on earth, he never expected the high priest to believe or the members of the church of that day to follow Him, He did not even try to convert them out of their tradition of Abraham or Moses. Those same people are still back there today in tradition and will not accept the promised Messiah. “He came unto His own, but His own received Him not" The Jews are smart and surely know the prophecy and the Word. Yet they are willing to discard even vital Old Testament scripture to be right while knowing they are wrong, except for the Messianic Jews that worship Jesus today. Let me be a messenger Dear Lord of Thy love and grace, of the Gospel of salvation for all. I feel God on the line and I know He is real to all people. Our time is running out appeasing the Arab world. We are now sure on our last leg. The fire is falling and we are fueling the wrong end. Let us pray to God for mercy and for understanding. Who is a worthy person to call the shots? Who can stop it all now? Prepare to meet the Lord and give in account of your priority. I can only say to live your life in obedience to God. Do not expect a church or a neighbor to do it for you. Your parents cannot do it for you and why would you trust eternity to a priest? I feel the Holy Spirit of God in me and I know God lives. I feel the power of that Holy Ghost He promised and did send on the day of Pentecost that filled the entire place. Let no man cheat you out of the greatest. Worship the living Lord.
